Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern access to and use of CAELIS, a product of Almena. By using CAELIS you accept them on behalf of yourself and any organisation you represent.

2. What CAELIS provides

CAELIS delivers forecasts of cloud behaviour and expected solar production, together with the interfaces needed to bring those forecasts into your own systems. CAELIS is not a weather service, an energy trader, a grid operator or an engineering consultancy.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for keeping your credentials confidential. You must not share access outside your organisation.

4. Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, resell or attempt to extract the underlying models, and do not use CAELIS to breach law, third-party rights or export restrictions.

5. Nature of results

CAELIS outputs are analytical decision support based on the observations and assumptions available at the time. They do not constitute trading, investment, engineering, legal, tax or grid-connection advice, and they must be validated before operational or capital commitment.

6. Intellectual property

Almena retains all rights in CAELIS, including its models, methodology and interfaces. You retain rights in the operational information you submit.

7. Fees

Paid plans are billed as described at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

8. Availability

We aim for continuous availability but may perform maintenance or change features. Satellite availability, coverage and atmospheric conditions can limit forecast quality. CAELIS is provided without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Almena is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or decisions made in reliance on CAELIS outputs.

10. Term and termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Provisions on intellectual property, liability and governing law survive termination.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Madrid, Spain, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the Almena contact form at https://almena.energy/book-demo.
